During the seminar, you will learn first hand about the Crown Royal distillation and blending process while exploring select expressions from the Crown Royal portfolio, including the Northern Harvest Rye and Hand Selected Barrel. During the seminar sample Crown Royal Deluxe, Black, Northern Harvest Rye, XO, and XR.

Craig Vaught’s Scottish heritage makes him a highlander at heart and world class Whisky is a product he is eager to share with others. Come enjoy some timeless classics as well as some new releases. With the recent release of many quality “No Age Statement” selections, the question is not whether or not to drink NAS, but which ones. In today’s market it’s all about flavor profile and not just age. We will also compare a classic 18 year Single Malt along side a timeless 18 year blend. This selection will prove to be quite eye opening.

A leading trendsetter of the spirit and cocktail scene in New York City for over fourteen years, Gardner Dunn is proud to be approaching his seventh full year as National Brand Ambassador for Suntory Whisky. He continues to hone his professional skills with frequent trips to Japan to study culture, whisky trends, and techniques with Suntory’s Master Blender and Chief Distiller. During Dunn’s tenure, Suntory has received over 80 awards and he was publically recognized for his work in 2010, when he received the Whisky Guild’s prestigious “Brand Ambassador of the Year” award. Dunn’s dedication to his craft is unmatched, making him the perfect representative for Japan’s first and oldest name in artisanal Japanese whisky.

It’s Not Scotch. It’s Not Bourbon. It’s Jack

Chris Fletcher
Jack Daniel’s Assistant Master Distiller

As assistant master distiller, Chris Fletcher utilizes his sensory skills and extensive knowledge of the whiskey making process while providing support for Master Distiller Jeff Arnett. As the grandson of Frank Bobo, the distillery’s fifth master distiller from 1966-88, making Jack Daniel’s Tennessee sipping whiskey comes naturally to Fletcher and he looks forward to playing a key role in any potential new offerings that the distillery may consider in the future. It is Fletcher’s job to help ensure that the dedication to the craft of making great whiskey remains true to Mr. Jack’s mantra of “Everyday we make it, we’ll make it the best we can.”

Glenmorangie Deconstructed

Brand Ambassador, Glenmorangie & Ardbeg Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Central US Brand Ambassador Dan Crowell will take guests through a tasting of Glenmorangie Original and the Extra Matured Range (Lasanta, Quinta Ruban, and Nectar d’Or), along with the fortified wines from the casks used for the secondary maturation of the Extra Matured Range – Ruby Port, Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez Sherries, and Sauternes.

Dave is the lead trainer for the award winning Maker’s Mark Bourbon Distillery. For the past seven years, Dave has used his extensive experience in training and education to host on-site visitor experiences for distributors, retailers, and VIP groups providing in-depth information on bourbon history and the development and process of making Maker’s Mark Bourbon.

Mr. Henderson presides over every aspect of the company’s production, operations, and innovation. Before the opportunity to partner with his father to create Angel’s Envy, he served as president and COO of Master Distiller Select, providing consultancy services to craft distillers. Mr. Henderson was also President and CEO of Conecuh Ridge Distillery, a storied craft whiskey and Division President of a subsidiary of Tyco International.
